Getting workouts in after working night shift (and being up for a straight 24 hours or more) is soooo hard! As a routine I sleep when I get home for maybe 4 hours, then get up to get Jenna from school. I’m good for about 2 hours (coffee) and then its like a shadow just descends upon me that says “go back to bed.” When I planned my workouts for the 1/2 Ironman, I charted weights and swimming on those days (nothing that took a lot of endurance). Swimming is easiest because the water “shocks” me awake and for weights I just have to sit there. Oh, and I only work 2 nights per week. I feel bad for you wonder women training and working more than that!
